From Finance To Water: How Rajathi Kalimuthan is Revolutionizing Hydration with Rhythm Water

Rajathi Kalimuthan had built a successful career in IT investment banking yet amidst the hustle, her health took a backseat.

Fatigue, stress, and an inexplicable decline in well-being led her to a revelation that would change the course of her life forever—hydration wasn’t just about drinking water; it was about drinking the right water.

Rajathi’s journey to uncover the essence of pure hydration was far from ordinary. Leaving behind a decade-long career in IT investment banking, she embarked on an odyssey fueled by curiosity and passion. She became India’s first female Water Sommelier certified from Germany, diving deep into the science of water, its mineral compositions, and its untapped potential to transform health.

Her search spanned continents, covering over 36,000 miles, leading her to the heart of the Himalayas. It was here that she discovered the purest form of natural mineral water—untouched, naturally filtered for over two decades, and enriched with essential minerals. This wasn’t just water; it was Rhythm.

In 2020, Rajathi founded Rhythm Natural Mineral Water under Marvelle Health Care Private Limited in Bangalore, Karnataka. The name ‘Rhythm’ wasn’t just a brand—it was a philosophy. “Sarvam Thaala Mayam”—from the rhythm of flowing water to the beating of a human heart, everything in life follows a pattern, a flow. And she was determined to bring this harmony into people’s lives through the right hydration.

Unlike regular bottled water, Rhythm Natural Mineral Water is designed to complement fine dining experiences, enhancing flavors through its naturally balanced mineral composition. It is India’s only premium natural mineral water curated by a certified Water Sommelier. The brand quickly gained recognition, earning the prestigious ‘Best Newcomer Beverage Brand of the Year– 2025 ’ award at the 7th Food Connoisseurs India Convention.

Beyond business, Rajathi’s passion for wellness extends to social impact. As the National Pink Ambassador for ‘India Turns Pink,’ she actively advocates for breast cancer awareness, reinforcing her commitment to holistic well-being.

Her journey resonates with many who have experienced the power of proper hydration. Michelin-star chefs have praised Rhythm Water for its ability to elevate the dining experience, enhancing the flavors of gourmet dishes in ways previously overlooked. Athletes who switched to Rhythm Water reported better hydration levels, improved endurance, and faster recovery times. Even busy professionals, once plagued by chronic fatigue and headaches, found renewed energy and clarity simply by making the right choice in water.

As she completes 25 years in her professional journey on March 8, 2025, Rajathi stands as a testament to perseverance, purpose, and passion. Rhythm Water is a reminder that wellness begins with something as simple as the water we drink. Through Rhythm, Rajathi is not only hydrating bodies but also inspiring minds, one sip at a time.
