Hyderabad (Telangana), August 10, 2021: The Olympic Medalist PV Sindhu to inaugurate “Vasundhara, an exclusive and flagship Jewellery Store” being set up by Mrs Vasundhara Kasaraneni, the first woman jeweller in South India.
The pride of the nation, Sindhu will inaugurate 10,000sft floor flagship showroom “Vasundhara” at Road No 45 in Jubilee Hills on Thursday.
The event will be an interesting and unique, the firsts of sort, when the shuttler PV Sindhu India’s first woman to win two individual medals at the Olympic Games and to win them in back-to-back editions and Mrs Vasundhara, the first woman jeweller in South India come together at the inauguration on 12th August.
Both are Telugus, firsts in their respective fields. Both the women have broken the proverbial glass ceiling and reached greater heights in their chosen fields. Amid gloomy times, the event is going to be more inspirational than mere business to many women in the city.
A graduate from Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the world’s foremost authority in diamonds and colour stones, Vasundhara is the first female entrepreneur from South India to start a luxury boutique over 22 years ago and leaves an indelible mark in the jewellery industry.
Vasundhara single-handedly authored its success story in less than two decades. Her clientele is elite not just from across India but beyond. Many NRI and foreigners from America, Singapore, Europe and Australia patronized her jewellery.
Many women achievers and the women who made a difference will also join at the small and select inaugural function. Adhering to strict covid protocols, the inaugural program will be a closed affair with a select few who is who invitees.
Mrs Vasundhara turned her passion into a profession is the most sought after jewellery designer. She has travelled far and wide in these 22 years and has stores in Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. The new store which is coming up will be an Exclusive Designer Jewellery Store showcasing Bridal Jewellery in Diamond, Kundan, Gold and Precious Stones.
Vasundhara and her sister Neha Anumolu are known for translating desires into masterpieces. Both sisters are acknowledged trendsetters in the field of jewellery design.
