“Success Begins with Mindset” – By Afreen Sait
About The Author: Afreen Sait is a 21-year-old entrepreneur, YouTuber, and success mindset coach. During her childhood, Afreen wondered why a few people became successful and the rest lived a mediocre life. As she grew up, she started realizing that it had a lot to do with mindset. She noticed that successful people are not different from you; they just do things differently. Afreen’s parents have always encouraged her to learn everything she wants and not restrict herself to traditional education. She discovered her passion for helping people when she was 18 and took her first course related to helping people grow. She learned Neuro-Linguistic Programming a year later, in 2020, while she was still completing her college degree in a different field, and has been committed to being a lifelong learner ever since.
As she was learning, she realized that this knowledge needed to be available to all, so she decided to start another Youtube channel and write a book to help people reach their dreams.
In this book, she shares all about how successful people have programmed their minds properly to go from where they are to where they want to be and what the things are that you need to do in order to become successful.
Before writing this book, Afreen spent three years researching successful people, their mindsets, and the workings of the subconscious mind, as well as how to use it correctly to achieve your goals.
Summary Of The Book: Successful people are no different from you; they just know something that you do not. Successful people know how to use their minds in the right way and know that they can do anything they put their minds to. They’ve simply programmed their minds differently than you. Not just successful people, but also the person you are right now (the “current you”) and the person who is living your dream life (the “future you”) are two different identities. This book explains how to make use of your mind and program it for success. After reading and implementing everything in this book, you are guaranteed to go from where you are to where you want to be.
1. Can you tell us a little about your book?
We live in a world where anything and everything is possible. The mobile phones we use and the television we see were once the dreams of someone, which would have seemed impossible to achieve. On the other hand, there are so many people struggling to achieve the basic things that they dream of. The reason why some people achieve their goals and the rest don’t has something to do with their mindset. If you program your mind for success, you can achieve success, and if you have programmed your mind for failure, you are currently facing it nonetheless; you can always change it by changing your mindset or your programming.
2. Is there a specific event that inspired this story or was this an out of the blue idea?
Well, as I was learning, I thought many people needed this knowledge, which could help them accomplish anything. Also, I thought it would be great to have written a book. My desire to write a book was undoubtedly influenced by my mother, who wished to write and, hopefully, will soon do so, and who inspired me to do so. Whatever I have written in the book, I have implemented. In my book, I have a chapter about goal setting, and I explain how it has helped me and so many others accomplish what we want. One of my goals was to read 50 books this year because an average millionaire reads 50 books a year, which I have spoken about in the book. Along with that, I decided that the 51st book that I read would be the book I have written, and guess what? It is.
3. What got you writing in the first place?
When I started learning and reading about the mind, I had so much to share. I realized how many people do not have this knowledge and how much it would benefit them if they did and implemented it. I always loved helping people, so when I started learning it, I thought it would be great to share it with others, and I did share the knowledge with whoever I met. However, I realized that not everyone wants to change themselves. Some people are very comfortable cribbing about their current reality. However, there are people who want to change but don’t know how. My mission is to reach out to 50 million people who want to achieve their dreams.
4. What was your impression of your first draft when you read it?
Honestly I had a little bit of self doubt and nervousness which is justified because it is my first book. However I was very confident about my subject and my learning and decided to not look back and take a decision now. After sometime I re-read it and it made me feel proud that I had done something most people struggle with. I had given my all and accomplished one of the biggest things in my goal list. I am forever grateful for this.
5 Which part of your story connects the most with you? Why?
All the stories that I have told in the book are real and inspired by my own life or the people I know. Even though the names have been changed when I read the stories I relate to everything and I’m sure most of you can relate to it. If we are talking about my favorite part it has to be ginger and Tisha’s story because a secret here is Tisha is no one else but the future Afreen.
6 What makes your book the one to read?
This is a rather interesting one. There are so many motivational self-help books out there. However, unlike other motivational books, I have kept this book reader-friendly and practical. Following it step by step will undoubtedly change your trajectory and, in time, your life’s trajectory.
7 What was the best advice you got while writing?
Just do it regardless of your fears and self-doubt. Don’t worry what people think about you; just take action every single day to reach your goal.
8 Who’s your all-time favourite author? Which book of his/hers made you fall in love with them?
I read a lot of self-help books, and I love every one of them. My favorite author when it comes to mindset is Dr. Joe Dispenza, and my favorite book of his is You Are the Placebo. I also love The Power of the Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy. I rarely read fiction, but Harry Potter was my favorite during my childhood.
9. What is your evergreen tip to the writers out there?
Having Self doubt is natural when writing. Remember a writers block is not a real thing you just need to deal with the thinkers block.
10 What was your hardest scene to write?
Well nothing was really hard as such since I knew my subject well but yes I must say it was the hardest to write about myself and I even tried to avoid it however I faced my fear and did it anyways.
11 Do you have another plot brewing?
Well, I’m not sure about that but hopefully I would be writing more books in the future.
